Welcome to The Engaged Campus blog!
Through this blog we hope to enhance our understanding of service-learning education, how it shapes the lives of our students, and how we can better engage students in learning through service. This blog houses best practices, student successes, links to faculty resources on The Exchange, and The Engaged Campus newsletter.
As service-learning practitioners we know the value of critical reflection but we don’t always take the time to reflect on our work. The Engaged Campus blog is a forum to do the very thing we encourage students to do: analyze, reflect, share, and value important work.
The Engaged Campus not only allows us to read the ideas of other people, but it allows us to join the conversation as a community of service-learning practitioners involved in a common project .
